Typhoons
A typhoon is a tropical storm that forms in the northwestern Pacific Ocean. The basin is demarcated within the Pacific Ocean from Asia, north of the equator. Just like the hurricanes are developed in the Atlantic basin.
Although, not every tropical storm develops a Typhoon. They all start and develop in the Pacific basin, and all these storms are going to the West.
This includes the coasts of China,Taiwan, the Philippines, and some times to Japan.
There are a few countries that get hit by these Storms. China and Taiwan are hit the most. Then there are Vietnam,Thailand, and the Philippines who endure the same severe weather as the previous mentioned countries.
Although not every storm is develop a typhoon, Typhoons and tropical storms are frequenting this area in the Asia continent the whole year long. Mostly they are forms between the month May and November. But as I mentioned before, they can come in the other month as well, but not so often.
This basin features the strongest tropical storms on record.
The tropical cyclone seasons include the entirety of the calendar year. Most storms tend to form between May and November, although they can occur at other times of the year as well.
There's also a
Typhoons warning system..
