Fight Climate Change!Hi and welcome to our "Fight climate change" website. This site has the main purpose to provide you with news and information concerning the global warming issue. The whole world is talking about it. Still many people are not convinced, or do not believe in the global warming or the changing climate.
The point is: Many thought that we could use earths natural sources infinity. That oil would flow for ever and ever, and some still think this way.. But fact is,that after 50 years of industrial grows, our planet has comes to it's saturation point. Now, we can do two things. Our we'll continue the way we where doing over the last 50 years, or we'll think it all over for a while, and then take a step back...making a change.. In our lives, and in the way we handling energy and using it. Who's responsible for all the co2 emissions and other greenhouse gasses coming into Earth atmosphere? Truth is that we all are responsible ( the grown-ups)! The Humans living on this planet. The summer of 2009 will be remembered as the first time that all the ice on the North pole was melted. The first time in the human history... 2009 was also the year of the "Copenhagen top" climate change conference, where all the world leaders came gathering to find a solution to stop global warming. Finding a way to let temperature on Earth not increase with more then two degrees. The question is: "Will they succeed? That's the assignment of the Copenhagen conference..( Where You can read more about in our "Global warming news" on the left..). Summer 2010 will remembered as a year of floods in Pakistan, China,also many other countries.and forest fires in Russia. Fact: The first victims of climate change: The first pieces of land that will disappear below the Ocean water,will probably be the tropical Island "Tuvalu". The residents of the Island are not at all responsible for global warming and the climate change, but the hard reality is that they will be the first victims. We will have to face more inconvenient for the coming decade(s). Believe it or not.. It's not too late... There are things that "You and Me" can do to make things turn.. We could use a bit more green energy, as there are from wind, solar energy, and other green energy sources. We could do something about saving energy at home, or better not wasting energy at home We could Go shopping with the bike. Or we could purchase a green vehicle....one that's emitting less co2. We could try to lower our carbon footprint.. One thing clear though! There's still hope that we'll win this "fight" against the global warming and the thereby changing climate.
