If we say extreme weather we think: "tornadoes" ! Because they are exactly what we call "severe storms".
But what are tornadoes and how extreme are they? What are tornado warnings, and who are tornado chasers? Tropical storms,cyclones,hurricanes and typhoonsThey start as a tropical storm above the warm water of the Atlantic ocean, and begins a journey to the West. Hurricane season goes from july untill november. Huricanes are formed in the Atlantic basin.Also, we have a selection with Huricane warning resources or sites that are indicating if a tropical storm is developing in a Hurricane or not,and if that storm is coming their. You better be warned, and prepared when these storms arriving..
Tropical storms AsiaIn Asia ,tropical storms are called Typhoons. They have their origin in East Asia. From China to Taiwan and Thailand..They all begin above the pacific basin. To predict when a tropical storm will go over in a Typhoon is very dificult, never the less,weather stations are doing there best to predict these extreme weather phenomemoms.It's the assignment of the "Typhoon warning centers" to warn the people from a specific area on the Asian mainland if a tropical cyclone or Typhoon is coming their way or not.. Cyclones are formed on the South side from the equator..They go to the East coast of Australia. Also to Madagascar and the West African coast have to deal with cyclones. On the other side of the Equator,in India and Bangladesh, cyclones are also present during the rain seasons. I'm sure we all have already seen the devastating floods in Bangladesh. Most of these waters comes from India
