Causes of Global warming
Hi and welcome to "Causes of global warming" page.
What causes these changes?
There are the atural causes and the causes by human activity.
We'll begin with the human cause number one: The industrialization.
It all began in the first half of the 20th century, when the industrialization of the northern countries took of.
was a lot of work and that was what matters at that time. The first remark of the negative consequences of the heavy industry were a fact.
In that period there was little or no control of what factories were producing or how much they were polluting or poisoning the environment and the surroundings ( the rivers,soil...). There
Then,World War II brought and the industrial revolution was a fact. An ever increasing grow to deliver guns and machines of all kinds was the result. The industry was growing and growing, and this world wide at max speed. It was in the second halve of the last century that people start to realize the damage that took place.
Soil was poisoned on many places, and rivers were as good as dead. They realized that there has to made some rules and laws to avoid a disaster from happening.
In the 20th century nobody was talking about climate change or co2 emissions.
There were other problems going on. A gigantic whole in the upper layers was disposed: Satellites were spotting a whole in the Ozone layer just above the antarctic area. This was caused by the concentrations of chlorine and bromine in the Earth atmosphere.
Many Governments have been taken some precautions to lowering the organohalogen compounds, especially chlorofluorocarbons or CFC's .
So,thanks to the measures that has taken, this problem has been solved. The hole in the Ozon layer has closed,or almost closed.
The next problem is a little bit harder to solve.
Human climate change
Well, in the first place: CO2 emissions are coming from the combustion of
fossil fuels
. Million cars, thousands airplanes, and many other motorized combustion engine vehicles are spitting every day tons and tons of
co2 emissions
into our planet atmosphere.
There are of course also natural causes for the global warming.
Natural causes
CO 2 emissions from natural causes like forests fires. Also, volcano eruptions , geothermal springs and geysers, they too can playing a role in the emissions of co2 and thereby the greenhouse effect on the planet..
Natural climate change
But...until today, the carbon dioxide emissions from natural are just peanuts compared to the ones from human activities.
But , you never know what the future brings.So..We don't talk about natural causes of global warming...Not yet, anyway.
Nevertheless, cutting down or burning down of the forests, and the so called slash and burn of rain forest in particular ,will have an influence on the environment and our climate, more then we may expect. Because trees are still the most natural co2 collectors on the planet, and we haven't found any alternative yet to replace them.
So, we'll have to do it with the forests, and trees, or face the consequences..
The deforestation of our planet.
The deforestation of our planet is also a pain point and one of the causes of global warming and climate change.
Why?
We, people of this planet, have cut down the most part of our rain forests and other woodlands, and still continuing doing. I understand that in some countries people are doing this out of poverty and to survive. Others just doing it for the big money.
About deforestation of our planet.
Then the sum is quickly made These two together are possibly causing an future catastrophe.
We are making a mess of our beautiful planet.. ( look at all the plastic in the ocean)
If not for you or me , but for some of the residents of our planet, and the children of tomorrow the consequences will be harsh .
It's not to spread panic among people we're saying this. Although, quit late, it is still time to do something about the situation. We have to start with ourselves to turn this situation for the better. Together we can make our planet a better place to live...or turn it into a toxic dump yard...
That the climate will change is indeed a fact.
How it will change, and how it will affect life on Earth, is for every scientist still theory. But You better think it over.
It's surely better to take precautions to avoid a dissaster from happening than to cure the sickness when it's too late.
